These Research Framework Notes offer a draft methodology for the process of the research that will take place in Bangladesh, Malawi and Peru (and possibly in Tanzania and Sierra Leone). They also aim to create a common understanding on Rights-Based Development and set the field in which the current learning process will take place. Part One of the Notes, sets out a Background to the Current Study and explores current thinking on Rights-Based Development. Part Two sets out the research purpose and objectives, and outlines methods to be used in the study.
