Further details: Flying Kites believes that excellence is a virtue, a right, and a necessity when caring for orphaned and abused children. To make a lasting change in impoverished Kenyan children's lives, we seek to provide the highest quality education possible, a healthy learning environment and a strong emotional support system. We are dedicated to developing a model that can be replicated and will change the way we think about options for disadvantaged children. We also work in our community to keep families together; to foster public-private collaboration; and to facilitate thoughtful action on crises facing the community.
