Search Instruments

Any     International     Regional     National

On this page you can find all international, regional and national instruments relating to child rights. An instrument is a legal tool which sets, explains and spreads international human rights standards, for example the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Administration of Juvenile Justice.

Here you can see which international and regional commitments your country has made and what standards it has set at a national level to implement child rights, including national laws and general measures of implementation, such as national plans of action and children's commissioners.

You can also search for instruments by type, e.g. treaty or resolution; keyword; child rights issue/ CRC article, such as non-discrimination (Article 2); or monitoring body, for example, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child or the European Court of Human Rights.

Or you can go directly to a country page which will give you a list of the latest instruments your country has signed or is a party to, at international, regional and national level.
