Organisation aims and activities: The NGO Committee on UNICEF was established in 1952 to encourage cooperation between NGOs and UNICEF, with a view to improving the wellbeing of children everywhere. It comprises 125 organizations, and is run by an elected board with headquarters in New York. The Committee publishes a regular newsletter.
