Further details: World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organisation working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. World Vision began relief operations in Lebanon in 1975 and transitioned to development programming in the 1980s. World Vision Lebanon's long term operation includes development support to both vulnerable Lebanese and Palestinian refugee population.

In the field of children's rights, World Vision Lebanon works to give a voice to vulnerable children and communities and to ensure that their condition, needs and issues are take into account. World Vision Lebanon, as part of its mandate, speaks on behalf of children who are suffering violence, is building public awareness about the problem of violence that affects hundreds thousands of children in Lebanon and emphasiases the key role of the government and local and international entities in addressing the causes of violence.
