Summary:
Sexual exploitation and abuse of children is one of the fastest-growing and worst computer-related crimes worldwide. The WSIS Plan of Action calls on all governments to prevent such abuses. This panel discussion will outline the problems, responses and what WSIS Tunis can do to protect children from sexual exploitation through ICTs. It will include a presentation of the new report on, 'Violence Against Children in Cyberspace', which is part of the UN Secretary-General’s Study on Violence Against Children.
