Europe & Central Asia Regional Consultation
The Consultation will focus on regional aspects of violence against children in Europe and Central Asia concerning (i) home and family, (ii) school and education, (iii) the institutional setting and (iv) community, including working settings and situations of conflict with the law. It is hoped that the conference will serve to accelerate action at national level to protect children from violence and place this issue higher on public agendas.
NGO Participation
NGO experience and recommendations from the 52 countries will be shared through the participation of one national NGO representative per country, as well as through regional NGO networks. Information on more than 300 NGO projects funded by the EU Daphne programme since 1997 will be made available.
