Guidance Note of the Secretary-General: UN Approach to Justice for Children
This note provides the guiding principles and framework for UN justice for children activities at the national level that apply in all circumstances, including in conflict prevention, crisis, post-crisis, conflict, post-conflict and development contexts. It is framed within the UN mandate to support the realisation of human rights, poverty reduction and the Millennium Development Goals, and is a contribution to the UN coherence agenda in the rule of law area.

ARMED CONFLICT: Children formerly associated with armed forces and groups: "How-to" guide on economic reintegration
The guide builds on the UN integrated disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration standards (iddrs) and the 2007 Paris Principles and Guidelines on Children Associated with Armed Forces and Armed Groups. While these documents describe “what” has to be done for the economic reintegration of children, the ILO guide aims to go a step further and provides guidance on “how to” do it when confronted with the task in the field.

Principles of Judicial Ethics for Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates
The document entitled “Report of the Committee appointed to propose principles of judicial ethics for Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates” was published by the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates in April 2010. It proposes twelve ethics principles for exercising of the judicial functions in child or youth and family matters, such as the duties of independence, impartiality and integrity of judges. Observations and explanations are made for each of these principles. Available in English, French and Spanish.
