Organisation aims and activities: IFCO is the only international network dedicated to the promotion and support of family foster care around the world. IFCO is the multi-cultural arena where people involved with foster care share experience and support each other, united by the aim of helping to make the right of every child to live in a family a reality.


Further details:

IFCO organises conferences and training seminars, publishes an Enewsletter on foster care around the world, sets up networks and undertakes training, consultation and research projects in cooperation with Governments, NGOs and iNGOs in order to develop family-based solutions for children without parental care. IFCO is developing regional networks and a Youth with Care Experience network.
