Organisation aims and activities: HURIDOCS is a global network of
human rights organisations. The aim
of HURIDOCS is to improve access to
and the dissemination of public
information on human rights through
more effective, appropriate and
compatible methods and techniques
of information handling.

Further details:

HURIDOCS itself does not collect documents, but functions as a decentralised network of organisations concerned with documentation and information. HURIDOCS encourages networking as the best way to deal with the growing flow of human rights information. HURIDOCS seeks to establish the necessary infrastructure which will lead to growing competence and professionalisation within the organisations engaged in its network.
