Summary:

The 18th Session of the Universal Periodic Review will take place from 27 January to 7 February 2014. Below is a list of the countries to be reviewed during the session.


 

General information

The following States will reviewed during the 18th session: 

  • Afghanistan   Chile   New Zealand   Uruguay   Vanuatu
  • Viet Nam   Yemen   Cambodia   Comoros
  • Cyprus   Dominican Republic   Eritrea   Macedonia   Slovakia

The deadline for organising side events in 13 January. You need to submit an online request.

The OHCHR's website contains further information on civil society participation in the UPR, including a practical guide.  

UPR Info organises pre-session meetings between civil society and Permanent Missions to discuss the human rights situation of countries to be reviewed in UPR session. Find out how you can participate.
