Children's Ombudsperson
As of the 2013 Concluding Observations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, there was no functional independent national human rights institution in Guinea to monitor the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Committee urged the State to “increase its efforts towards effectively setting up an independent and impartial national human rights institution that [complies] with the Paris Principles”.
