Summary:

The general objective will be to develop appropriate strategies of selection and preparation of volunteers as well as to draft suitable support measures for volunteers during the service period abroad.

The german EVS hosting organisation "Arbeitskreis fuer Famileienhilfe .V." together with some future hosting and sending organisations from the Upper Rhine Region would like to invite you to participate in an Action-5 -seminar on "Quality Improvement of EVS projects". We are planning during the seminar a visit in the European Parliament at Strasbourg and we'll try to organize a meeting with a member of the Parliament to discuss several issues of the EVS-program. Seminars venue : Black Forest Region near the town of Freiburg in the south-west of Germany. Duration : 5 days around 21st of February (depending on Parliament Session dates in Strasbourg). The inviting organisation will cover 70% of travel costs, 100% of accommodation, food and program activities. Participants are requested to contribute to the seminar their own ideas, workshop subjects they want to work on etc. application deadline is 29th of october 2004.
