Summary:

The model and tool can be applied in any paediatric hospital or department, by a delegated team composed of health professionals, children, parents, associations and other stakeholders. The aim of the model and tool is to:
- assess the gap between the full respect of children's rights and hospital practice;
- promote improvement and change;
- contribute to the setting of standards;
- contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of these processes.
