I personally welcome the UN comments regarding abuse and neglect of children in the home. It's about time the England & Wales Family Courts, specifically, took on board the fact that mothers are equally likely as fathers to damage their children. Yet, still, fathers are subjected to unrestricted bias and discrimination by many England & Wales Family Courts Judges when they attempt to protect their child(ren) from abusing mothers. This total bias and discrimination also leads to yet another monstrous 'cop-out' that is on the increase in England & Wales - forced adoption. Abuse and neglect of children in the home will never stop, but affording fathers the same consideration as mothers in the Family Courts could greatly reduce further abuse, long-term harm, and deaths of young children in the UK. Both issues need to be looked at by the UN in the very near future ie urgently.
