The secretariat of the Human Rights Council has released a note verbale relating to the approved technical and objective requirements for eligible candidates for special procedures mandate holders, as stipulated in paragraph 41 of the Annex to Council resolution 5/1 of 18 June 2007.

Note the deadline for submission of nominations is 11 April 2008.
