Summary:

This event aims to develop your skills in working with children from 5-14 years, enabling you to better understand why children behave as they do and to develop techniques for managing child behaviour. Some of the techniques can also be adapted to work with 3-4 year olds. The skills will be applicable when working with children in the environment or in any other setting. The event is based on the National Occupational Standards at Level 3 for Childcare, Learning and Development (CCLD) and Playwork.
