Selon le Fonds des Nations Unies pour l’enfance (UNICEF), les violences qui se poursuivent en Afghanistan ont blessé 293 enfants et en ont tué 121 autres au cours des quatre premiers mois de 2013, soit 414 victimes mineures au total, ce qui représente une hausse de 27 pour cent par rapport aux 327 victimes de l'année dernière.
« L'Afghanistan reste l'un des pays où il est le plus difficile et le plus dangereux d’être un enfant », a dit à IRIN le porte-parole de l’UNICEF, Alistair Gretarsson.
