This report provides supplementary information on Australia, 60th session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child on the implementation of the CRC.
Interviews were held with 31 deportees returned to Afghanistan from Australian detention centres. 29 of those interviewed in Afghanistan said they and their families were in grave danger from militant Taliban and Kuchis groups.Edmund Rice International is extremely concerned about the plight of deportees from Australia to Afghanistan and see the situation as needing urgent attention.
