Summary:

This report provides supplementary information on the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s second periodic review on the implementation of the CRC. Based on reports from the Congolese government and numerous NGOs, this alternative report outlines a picture of the general circumstances faced Congolese children. The report recognizes efforts made by the government on behalf of children, most notably in the area of legal protection of children, but suggest there remains much to accomplish.
