September &amp;#8211; 9 October 1998) the 
Committee on the Rights of the Child 
devoted a Day of General Discussion 
(5 October 1998) on &quot;Children living 
in a World with HIV/AIDS&quot;. Here are

At its 19th session (Geneva, 21 September &amp;#8211; 9 October 1998) the 
Committee on the Rights of the Child devoted a Day of General 
Discussion (5 October 1998) on &quot;Children living in a World with 
HIV/AIDS&quot;. As for previous thematic discussions, the Committee 
invited representatives of United Nations organs, competent 
bodies and specialized agencies, including non-governmental 
organizations, research and academic organizations and 
individual experts, to contribute to the discussion. Here you will 
find a list of these contributions. 

This report is adapted from Annex VI, List of background papers, 
documents and contributions submitted for the general 
discussion on &amp;#8220;the rights of children living in a world with 
HIV/AIDS&amp;#8221;, held on 5 October 1998, in &quot;Report on the nineteenth 
session&quot; CRC/C/80. The report and general recommendations, as
